what is a Secure xmpp server?

A secure XMPP server is a server that communicates with each device without the use of cell towers the typical ways that a phone texts/calls. Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP), originally known as Jabber, is an open communication protocol designed for instant messaging (IM), presence information, and contact list maintenance. Based on XML (Extensible Markup Language), it enables the near-real-time exchange of structured data between two or more network entities.

*note that YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO CONTACT OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE ALSO USING THIS SERVICE*

Our server uses OMEmo, Sha-256, and SCRAm encryption to make sure that your texts and calls are completely out of the hands of prying eyes. you can use it on iphone, android, pc, and mac! all your messages will sync to all devices! we also use prosody as our server backend, which is completely open-source technology, so no backdoor access or creepy code from companies that monitor you! we are also constantly updating it!

other companies and organizaTIONS that use xmpp servers of their own include and are not limited to:

*US Marines

*US Navy

*US Air force

*US army

*NAsa

*UK government

*government of canada

*Ministry of defense

*tufts medical center

*republica argentina

What xmpp servers specialize in:

  1. Decentralization: XMPP operates on a client-server architecture, meaning clients communicate through servers rather than directly with each other. This decentralized approach allows anyone to run their own XMPP server, similar to how email works.

  2. Extensibility: As an open-source project, XMPP can be modified or extended according to specific needs. This flexibility has led to its adoption in various applications beyond traditional IM, including VoIP, video, file transfer, and more.

  3. Addressing: Each user on the XMPP network has a unique address called a JID (Jabber ID), structured like an email address (e.g., username@example.com). This allows for easy identification and communication across different servers.

  4. Security: XMPP supports secure authentication (SASL) and point-to-point encryption (TLS). Additionally, extensions like OMEMO provide end-to-end encryption, ensuring that only the intended recipients can read the messages

Why would i use this as opposed to telegram, signal, whatsapp, etc.?

  1. Great QUestion. This is owned completely by us! There is no other company that is involved except for the offshore company we rent the server from, and they have no right to your data! the server is also located offshore in a country that values privacy more than the United states.

  2. Our server is also unlike other chat apps that have servers that are located inside the united states that are subject to the juristiction of the united states. we value the privacy of our customers and we are obsessed with keeping your data yours! the way its supposed to be!

  3. other chat apps like that do not have open-source code, so you cannot see what their code looks like and what monitoring features/backend access to your messages that they have. we do not and we repeat do. not. have access to your account, your messages, friends, or any other data. the only thing we can do is just delete your account if we hear reports from other users that you are not using our service for good/legal things and we will act upon that promise. that is to keep our liability and server clean for everyone to enjoy.

What type of technology do you use to achieve this?

We are using an open-source xmpp server architecTURE called prosody, and it has many benefits that allow us to give you a great standard of encryption, and great communiCATION. the source code to prosody is completely open, and it is reknown for not being a type of server technology that has a backdoor to allow other companies and organizations to monitor and survey its users. we are also hosting that server on a vps that is located offshore, away from the prying eyes of the united states so there is no worry that the data can even be legally/illegally obtained. if there are ever any concerns, we would immeDIATELY shut off the server, disabling communiCATION, and wipe the data. that is the worst case scenario but it is one that we consider. we will fight tooth and nail to make sure that the users on our platform are able to have the right to privacy and their 4th and 1st ammendment rights are completely protected.
